Firefly is a brilliant inventor. He's oblivious to the world when he's working on a project, which is most of the time. When he does remember to take a break, Firefly is a funny and enthusiastic talker.

Firefly has always loved inventing. He was born in the Lightning Farm, where thousands of dragons worked all day for the Stormcatcher. As a hatchling, Firefly was mostly overlooked, so he spent his days experimenting with the gears and other mechanical parts lying around the Lightning Farm. He tinkered with the parts, always thinking of something new that could be made from them. Firefly was the middle child of clutch. His older brother Xandra was a large imposing imperial. When Xandra walked into the room, dragons looked up. He became an amazing fighter, and left to join a light clan as a warrior. Firefly's younger sister was long and slender like their mother. Moonbeam was elegant and graceful, but vain and arrogant. She left to join a plague clan, where she rose in its ranks quickly.
firev2.png While his siblings left to join other clans and achieve great things, Firefly continued to tinker and invent. Eventually, his parent gently suggested that he find a way to serve the Stormcatcher, or join another clan. Although he loved the mechanical focus of the Lightning Farm, Firefly couldn't stand the regimented life of a Lightning dragon. Taking his pocket mouse familiar with him, Firefly left the clan. Firefly met Ignis during his travels. She was also traveling, but she was fighting beastclans as well as searching for a clan. Firefly was amazed by Ignis's physical, mental, and emotional strength. She was so powerful and free. Ignis found herself falling in love in spite of herself. They became mates, and together found the Dragons of Amethyst Scale. There, Firefly set to work as an inventor making things for the other dragons.
