Biography
_ Aetherius, Benevolent Veteran She flies over the sea at night, and the reflection of her wings shine like distant galaxies. Takes care of the hatchlings by teaching them how to fly and showing them borders, along with Lark. She is one of the oldest members of the Clan, believed to be one of its original founders, but politely declines any prestige associated with it. |
Notes on the clan's structure
Clan Guardians : These Guardians each took as a charge one of the subregions of the Clan's territory, and thus serve as its mighty protectors. |
Guides : These dragons know intimately the people and geography of the region they are assigned to, and help new arrivals, clan members and foreigners alike, get around. Come to them for information about the Clan's territory and inhabitants. |
The Clan's Archivists are living repositories of useful information and there to give up to date data on the doings of the Clan. They are constantly sought after by other dragons for information and guidance on plans and other activities...and love every second of it. |
Scholars : Often the smart and silent type, scholars are the wiser dragons of the clan. Unlike Archivists, their research isn't here to be immediately useful to the clan, but rather knowledge for knowledge's sake. You can still come over to ask them for information but be wary, they tend to be slightly eccentric or in some cases, full of themselves. |
Communication : These dragons help relay information to the outside world or to specific dragons. They're often extremely busy delivering things, too busy to sit for a nice little chat. Thus, those picked for the job are often on the hyperactive side. |
A handful of resident Merchants have set shop in the Ruins, regularly providing locals and visitors with their wares. |
Flight representatives : Diplomats from all over the world, they keep contact with the other flights and help dragons get accustomed to the water. |
Hunters : The Ruins do not have an army. Instead, it's more martial, wild inhabitants scour the sea and surrounding shores to bring back food and treasure to their Clan. |
