Potion Master

Wicked brews and strange concoctions, PotionDrop spends most of his time in front of a cauldron. He was hatched to SilkSylph and ZephyrSpell, who were both intimately familiar with potions and brews.

Silk was a potions master in her own right. She was afflicted with the gembond disease, and sought to create a cure. Although she never found one, she did take the time to pass her skills down to her son. He would often sit beside her while she worked, simply watching his mother go about her business. For many years, this was how he learned the trade of brewing potions.

When he was older, PotionDrop’s mother soon started letting him try to make his own potions. She gave him a small cauldron, and would take him out in the woods to pick his own ingredients. It’s something he still remembers fondly.

These days, he buys most of his ingredients from the shop unless they’re too rare or expensive. Then, he’ll make a trip out into the wilderness every few weeks to go collect what he needs.

Recipe for Dark-seeing Potion:

1 Blacktongue Pepper

Venom of the Amethyst Striker (2 drams)

Powdered diaphanous wing

1 Stalk Deepmine Fungus

Stir all ingredients in a solution of hot salt water. Bring to a boil, and drop a moonstone in the concoction. Let cool before drinking.
