Sahko was one of the first dragons to join the original study group which became the Blackmoon Clan. He is above all a loner and has mostly kept to himself for the entirety of clan history.

At one point in time he was more interactive, and while he was working for the High Council as an assassin, he would frequently hang out with the Shadehounds in his spare time. He also had a mate, a lovely skydancer named Raiko.

However, many centuries ago Raiko disappeared without a trace, and that's when Sahko became entirely reclusive. Even when the Great Rebellion of the First Era came about, Sahko was nowhere to be found for months. By disappearing in such a way he betrayed both sides, the High Council which he worked under and the Rebels who included his closest friends.

When Sahko finally did return to the Blackmoon Clan, many years later, he immediately approached the new High Council -- founded by the Rebel leaders -- and apologized profusely for his betrayal to the Rebellion by his sudden disappearance. He was easily forgiven by the newly-enthroned Overseer Austere Blackmoon, who was born after the Rebellion and was less opinionated on the topic that the elders of the clan.

Sahko had been gone for almost two centuries. Only his best friend Dammith, the ex-Shadehound, knows the full story of what happened during that time. A few rumors have been spread by the gossipy members of Blackmoon. Apparently Sahko kept up his assassin career for some time, until he finally got caught on a critical mission in the Southern Icefield and was nearly imprisoned in one of the land's infamous chambers of ice. Sahko barely escaped with his life, and after some consideration and soul-searching he decided to give up assassination altogether. He travelled the various lands of Sornieth for a while after that, and he seems to have learned much during this period of his life.

These days, Sahko lives a quiet and mild life as a mage and enchanter. The High Council cuts him some slack due to his seniority. He has reconnected with a couple old friends and has met a few new ones. Plus, his romantic life finally seems to be improving. After four centuries he has finally recovered from the pain of losing Raiko, and he now has his eyes set on someone new: Hexadex, the cousin of Queen Sombre. She's a rather stern and intimidating dragon but she's slowly warming up to Sahko, who is not so friendly himself. The two have a slow but strong bond forming, and those previously-mentioned clan gossips are daying that the relationship has already advanced to the next level.
