"QUOTE"

Alvar has an almost supernatural edge about him; it makes him difficult to look at and even more difficult to converse with. Anyone who tries finds themselves in a dream like state, lulled by the sound of his voice until they can't quite remember what they just told him. His parents were delighted by this gift, but found themselves mulling over it's full capacity. Certainly, he was an asset, but he could just as easily turn it onto them. Making their decision, they told him that he would leave once he was able.

Alvar is very interested in politics and mind games- he loves to see other dragons squirm. He needs to one up on everyone else, and doesn't mind how it happens. The mystical quality to his voice is certainly useful to that regard, though it's prevented him from having any meaningful relationships. When other dragons will tell you whatever you ask and do whatever you want, it's hard to see them as living beings. Much easier to see them as tools. Still, a change of scenery might do him some good, so Alvar agreed to leave, needing only his intellect and his voice to integrate himself into a new clan.
