Here's a spell!
Spell backstory: Astronomy is closely connected with Time-Travel. The stars have long ago told stories, designated times and seasons, and guided navigation of the great expanse where the stars
and planets 
dwell. Have you ever wondered how Arcanists might have come to engage in time-traveling? Was it scientific discovery? 
Random chance? 
Magic? 
Old knowledge from the Book? 
What Book? The Sprite's book, of course.
In my clan a Revealing is necessary to time-travel. What is a revealing, you ask? That's a story for another time. "Okay," you say, "very funny. Now, just get to the point."
Alright, here's the spell:
Ingredients - the gem corresponding to your flight color
; flowing water from the area near the Shifting Expanse 
and Sunbeam Ruins 
; a secondary gene scale from the dragon wishing to time-travel 
, a freshly constructed hollowed out crystal ball left open to be the receptacle 
; moonlight during the full moon 
.
Instructions: Gather all ingredients, fill the hollowed out crystal ball with the water, drop in the gem and then the scale, leave overnight under the full moon after the following is said:
Incantation:
Time, times and half a time, jump the spaces in between
Light and lightning's flowing path stretch up to stars in moon's fair beam
crystal gem protects, provides to each who seeks it's cosmic hum
you go and move through waters pure and n'er to guess the time's return
The next day the ball will be in a solid state and can be read for information on the time-travelers adventures. It also helps with travelers sickness due to the gems protection which is allegedly experienced from jumping the timelines.
NOTE: There is a variation of this spell if you wish to read information on a parchment scroll given by the Arcanist. But beware, it can drive you quite mad.
