B I O G R A P H Y

Son of Hubble and Spitzer

______ Uchuu was born as a normal Arcane dragon and the son of the lair leader Hubble. He grew up with a hunger for learning that surpassed the other hatchlings in his home. As he grew up, the other dragons discovered not only did he have this intense hunger for knowledge, but he retained almost anything he learned. It was almost unnatural. He became immensely smart and powerful which worried others. His lair members held a discussion and decided this was too dangerous. These signs pointed clearly towards the symptoms of being a Horror. They couldn't risk keeping him and they banished him.

He founded a new lair, one that appreciated his knowledge. He was happy for many years with his new family, and he often wrote back to his old lair. He continued to learn anything he could until one day, he couldn't. He couldn't find anything else to learn. He knew everything there was to know of this area. He wanted more. His hunger for knowledge intensified each day until he couldn't control it anymore.

______ Ue left in the night and spent 12 years traveling Sornieth and learning more. After that time had passed, he returned to his lair and was in shock when it was in ruins. Bodies of his friends lay dead on the ground, no treasure left in the hoard, blood smeared on the walls. Uchuu broke down and mourned for 6 months. He abandoned his quest for knowledge and wept. Every time he felt the want to learn, he pushed it down inside of him and destroyed it.

Until one night, he had a dream. He was in a place he didn't know, it was foreign to him. He was surrounded by stars. It was silent and he appeared to be standing on nothing. He stepped forward and was met with a dark figure. He couldn't see any details of this figure, he couldn't even tell if it was a dragon. The figure spoke and shattered the silence around them. "Uchuu. You left your lair in pursuit of knowledge of the world. In that time, your lair was attacked and defeated by a powerful dragon. No one survived. You have mourned for months and to no use. What is done is done. There is no use mourning any longer. Stop hiding your thirst for knowledge. Let it flow. I can show you things you will never learn in your home land. Take my deal, and you will become the most knowledgeable dragon in Sornieth. What will you do?" The figure spoke in a rough voice that sounded ancient and powerful. Uchuu broke down and wept again. "I... I let myself leave them... They needed me... I can never forgive myself... But... They are gone... Now I need to leave them behind... I'll... I'll take your deal." He spoke weakly and shakily. The figure grinned widely and from it flew black ribbons that surrounded their area and left it pure black. He was left in a pit of nothingness. His head felt heavy suddenly and he collapsed.

He fell asleep and immediately woke up back in his lair. He felt weird and his head still felt heavy. He went to drink from a stream and saw he had changed. He had gold scales on his face, chest, and legs and pink flames engulfed his tail fur and shoulders. He was adorned in sparkling blue silks that shimmered like twinkling stars. He looked very noble in this new look. His eyes also shined brighter and left a wisp of pink in their wake. He blinked and realized he had received a sort of gift from that figure in his dreams. He felt smarter, stronger even.
