 Maximus Calm | Passionate | Graceful Leader of the Hunt/Council of Akurre |
Maximus was one of Relics "children" that founded the Clan of Niatalde. He has always been a natural born leader, but Orion beat him to the chase of official leader. When he was young, Maximus had taken an interest in the bright, impulsive fae Symphony. But she had fallen in love with Orion, and again Maximus's spotlight was stolen. For that he will always bear a grudge against Orion, but puts the clans personal needs in front of his own. Orion felt bad about taking away so many things from him, so he made Maximus the leader of gathering, where he could put his leadership skills to good use. Maximus, as a nature dragon, naturally hates plague dragons. In reality he fears them because when he was a hatchling because he was told plague dragons, especially plague mirrors, are brutal savages that must be put down or locked up at all times. Those ideas never came to life until Lefua was brought to the clan. He had hated the mirror pack, but now he couldn't stand it. His beliefs caused a rift in the clan, and the nature and light dragons tried to sabotage the plague dragons, especially Lefua. To this day he avoids her out of sheer hate and fear. Maximus doesn't have a mate nor concern about his offspring, for his best and only friend is Ivy, his familiar strangler who hunts with him and when not active is always wrapped around Maximus. He doesn't entertain himself with love because he knows other dragons find him stiff and undesirable. But on long nights, he wishes that for once, he wouldn't feel so lonely.
