This boy already showed a tendency to dark magic at a young age - hence his name, Slytherin, after the brilliant and famous Wizard, that mastered the Dark Arts.

Slytherin isn't throughout evil, he's just a gruff old guy that attained some great wisdom through studying, powered by ambition. He's quite proud, too, likes to keep to himself aside from snakes or strange dark creatures. Hanging around in the shadows is what he likes, as well as dark colours that lets him merge with them. Therefore you can find him here and there, sometimes not at all and sometimes...
...HE'S STANDING RIGHT BEHIND YOU!

He's there if one needs some Dark Arts though, be it magic, spells or potions
- psst or even a little curse here and there.

In his mid-teens he got that strange scar above his eye
while experimenting with magic using and brewing.
