Aspen is Mesa's Husband. Once a professional text illuminator, he now tends to the records and finances of the Stone Maiden Inn. (Often, these records end up unreasonably fancy when he gets enough time on his hands.) Charming and well spoken, Aspen can often sound like the flirtatious type but it doesn't take too long to discover his unwavering loyalty to both Mesa and the Inn itself.

Despite not working officially in his old craft, he has been badgered by the younger dragon Trillion into teaching his trade when he's not occupied with guests.
