Where there is metalwork to be done, a metallurgist is sure to follow, and Argentum grew into the role as a natural talent. He watched, fascinated, from a young age as the engineer dragons tried various workarounds and techniques to twist and form the metal they worked with, never quite getting things entirely right but close enough that they'd work. This seemed like such a travesty to Argentum, who then spent much of his childhood learning the arts of smithing and metallurgy. As the resident expert in these crafts, he would never say that he's mastered either, as he is always learning new tricks and mastering different techniques.

He's a bit of a brash and gruff dragon, always willing to speak his mind, whether it's really called for or not. He takes great pride in his work, and is an utter perfectionist, not letting a single piece leave his shop until he's certain that it is of the highest quality he can manage. As a result, he also cannot back down from a challenge, and will often spend weeks at a time on some particularly difficult job, forging and reforging until whatever he's working comes out exactly to the needed specifications. To Devlin and the engineers, Argentum is a gift from the gods, solving so many of their problems in assembling their various gadgets and machines by making the perfect parts to assemble them with. To the battle-hardened Enforcers and other battle dragons, he makes the armour that keeps them alive on the battlefield. Argentum just sees himself as a metal worker, good at his craft, but far from a master.
"I don't care what metal it is, you need something done with it, it's as good as done."
