Topaz the Brilliant
she shines brighter than the stars
From her hatching, the entire clan knew she would be something great. Feisty, warmhearted, and incredibly persuasive, Topaz had all the makings of a natural born leader. Being the daughter of the EchoFlower clan's matriarch only gave her another edge on the competition. She had diplomatic sensibilities, even at an early age. Her true skill lay in talking to other dragons. Somehow she was able to look at the world from their perspective and understand their point of view better. Short of being the leader of her own clan, she will make a great mediator for issues inside the clan. Her sister hatchling was nothing like her in that she was afraid of strangers. Topaz loved strangers and encouraged them to chat with her. However, she wasn't foolish and remained on her toes at all times. Her natural enjoyment of other dragon's company set her apart from most other pearlcatchers. Dragons who meet her put this down to her mother being such a friendly snapper. Topaz enjoys learning about other dragons and growing as an individual. Although hatchlings may be in her future, she isn't sure when she plans on settling down. There are so many dragons to meet and speak with and so little time. It doesn't get Topaz down, though, she still enjoys every minute she's awake. Unlike her sister, she doesn't have a strong dislike of imperials and perhaps treats them just like other dragons. When looking at her hoard, the first thing that would be immediately evident is that this dragon loves tusks. Ivory lays in every corner of her den, covering the walls and the floors. Her other trinkets are somewhat less odd. Gold, jewelry, bits of shiny stones. Her love of ivory is however unmatched by any other dragon who has met her. |
