there is none so swathed in regality and intrigue as Bina. she is perhaps the only dragon with any true taste of the "high life." her family has had strong ties with arcane's premier noble family since any of them can remember. the daughter of esteemed magisters, she spent her youth in court. magical prowess is her birthright, but diplomacy and grace are her education. but don't be fooled; her abilities go far beyond parlor tricks to appease the wandering minds of bored nobles. she specializes in offensive magic. she can shoot concentrated beams of arcane energy over vast ranges, making her a skilled distance fighter. with grace and without hesitation, she fights. it is this sort of technique that made her especially useful as a former courtier; no assassination attempts could be actualized in the presence of a dragon so quick and powerful. Bina also dabbles in protective tonics. she works with bosmat and the clan's coliseum teams to create temporary armor potions, health potions, reflective potions--all sorts of things that boosts a dragon's own capabilities or turn an enemy's strengths against them. she often accompanies scouts and fighters on their missions, eager to be in the field and compile research, but reluctant to throw herself into the fray. she prefers to know everything first, and do something second. even though she misses the high life, clan horesh is a fun experience for her. civilian life is much more captivating, and a whole lot simpler somehow. she prefers to let loose and have time to do her research and practice magic without all of the devastating social pitfalls of the court. while still quite arrogant and haughty, she has a kindness to her that has really compounded with the birth of her first clutch. and her incessant quest for knowledge has endeared her to some. |
