In a way, everything that emerged from the void is considered a being of chaos. The universe is primarily made up of chaos, so most beings in existence share some sort of that energy.

Rae was the first entity. And thus, Rae is also the most chaotic of them all.

At first, there was nothing. Just the void. Then, over eons (although time still did not exist, at this point), the darkness began to shift. There wasn't light, not yet -- but the darkness was moving. Something had been born. If you're following the obvious story line here, that darkness concentrated into the first entity: Rae.

Rae, unfortunately, was born weak. There was nothing in existence for it to feed from. No galaxies, no beings, no universes. Just Rae and the void. And so Rae spent the first few eons by itself, growing its power and spreading the tendrils of chaos through the void. At least there was something in the void after that.

And so Rae decided that if it was the only entity around, it must be destined to rule. So with some of its limited power, it created the Throne -- a chair (do entities even sit on chairs?) made of pure chaos.

At the time, Rae did not know that other entities were coming. So Rae claimed the throne, and declared that whoever sat upon the throne would be the one to rule existence.

It did not make the provision that Rae had to be the entity that sat upon the throne. But that is a story for another time.

Eventually, Rae became lonely. So it created some beings -- nothing truly alive, with a mind and soul. But they were beings, nonetheless. They were beings of chaos. And so Rae also became the first entity with a following.

After so long alone on the throne, Rae had become bored. So it was a great shock when the void that Rae had not covered with her chaos shifted, and another entity was born...
