They say that the god of the sun is a kind and generous soul, and despite the fact that they are probably right about that, nobody would ever dare call him modest. Apollo shines bright as the Lightweaver, and he certainly knows it. Those who are seeking to learn a new skill, better their creative abilities, or something of the like, are always directed towards Apollo, but they always given a word of caution.

Apollo is one to throw himself into his duties. If he is teaching, then he is teaching and that is that. If he is painting, then he is painting. But if someone is hurt, no matter the cost to heal and no matter how small or large the injury, everything else is dropped. Teaching and painting and everything else can wait until the injured dragon is healed. The word of caution? Don’t go expecting him to teach something to you last minute because you need it. Your last minute piano rehearsal is nothing compared to a burn from cooking or a gash from sword fighting.

Nobody would ever say that this is a bad way to act, even if it might be considered a hair overzealous, but that doesn’t stop people from talking about the reasons he is like this. And again, they do not do this out of spite, but more out of curiosity. It is just in a dragon’s nature. The current clan favorite rumor is that Apollo used to have a sister, perhaps someone who shared his duties in the sky, perhaps not, but a sister all the same. This rumor goes on to say that she died some sort of horrible, tragic death, and now Apollo throws himself into every action because he feels like he is living for two now, instead of one. This would also explain the urgency he feels whenever there is a wound to heal … It doesn’t get more tragic than him being the one who was unable to heal this imagined sister, now does it? Although everyone is sure that Apollo has at the very least heard that there are rumors about him going around, he has never once acknowledged them or given any of his peers a hint as to whether they are true or not.

The amount that he throws himself into his duties is almost no different from the amount that he throws himself into any relationship. Friends are cared for with an unmatched loyalty, and his mate, Bebhionn is no different. He may be the god of the sun, but she is truly the light of his life. During the main hours of the day, Apollo is more often found doing his own things - teaching, healing, resting - but once the sun begins to touch the horizon, the pair are usually together. Apollo is passionate in everything that he does - it should be no surprise that the things he does with Bebhionn are no different.
