★★★ Szilard was made, not born. Created by the Gladekeeper during her conflict with her sister, he was given the ability to freeze the contagion the Plaguebringer left in her wake. With his strong control over the element of ice, he could halt the spread of disease in it's tracks. His abilities were a boon until the conflict was over; then it became a hazard. It was true he could keep the contagion from killing all the surrounding plant-life, but his abilities also caused those plants to freeze and die. For someone who enjoyed nature it was a terrible ability to possess. Fearing the effects he had on nature, the others cast Szilard out from the Viridian Labryinth and in the thousands of years of his life he has not returned. For a long time he wandered the realm and eventually came to stay in the Southern Icefields for a while; a logical place for him in his mind. But even there he felt alienated. The dragons here did not trust outsiders, even a stranger who had abilities over ice. Deciding not to tarry, he soon vacated the area, resigned to keep to his lonely wanderings. It was during this part of his travels he heard rumors of a dragon, while not exactly like him, was similar in the fact she may have been a relic from the deity wars. This was how he came to meet Revenant and to join her clan, eventually becoming her consort and providing a stoic and logical voice for the sometimes volatile bogsneak. | xxxxxxxxxxxx |
