Birthed in a quaint village shadowed by a mountainous region, Durgesh often experienced odd bursts of sensation that trickled from the base of his heel to the pointed arcs of his claws. An ancient skill, commonly thought to be forgotten to the ages: Rock Sense. Being able to predict the stability of the rock beneath his claws, feeling plumes of warmth where gems lay hidden beneath the cold earth. The ability to predict a cave in with a simple touch is a vital one, and Durgesh turned to mining to utilise his gift to the greatest extent.

Succumbing to a surge of wanderlust, the Tundra bundled up and found himself traversing mountainous territories, unexplored out of fear of upsetting the fickle slate-rock. Being able to sense out the only safe paths through these terrible regions anointed Durgesh as a reliable smuggler, of both escaping thieves and their loot. His sociable exterior guaranteed close kitted friendships were quickly established between the guide and his charge, and despite his rather innocent nature, the drake has several unlawful ties.

Cold is a pleasurable companion to the Tundra, and he oft finds himself tracking as far as he dare within the mountains, camping for months on end in the barren wastes, discovering unique gems and raw minerals to trade through his various contacts. It's a humble life; enjoyable and quaint.
