A small shop stands off the beaten path. Upon entering, you’re hit with a wave of nostalgia. The sweet scent of flowers hits your nose, and you squint as your eyes adjust to the dim lantern light. When you can finally see, you realize you’re in a room filled with all sorts of wonderful objects. There are tables covered in all different kinds of crystals and precious rocks. Bundles of dried herbs hang from hooks on the ceiling, adding to the sweet, floral smell in the air. Behind the counter, there’s a young, pretty Nocturne with her nose buried in a thick book. She looks up as you enter the shop, and raises one frosty eyebrow.
“Is there something I can help you find?” Leigh is no witch, but she knows more about spells and potions than most people. Her mother and grandmother practiced magic, and although she did not have the same talent, she studied with them. She spent much of her youth helping them collect the materials they needed for their work. When she grew older, Leigh left the clan of her birth and opened up a shop on the Starfall Isles. The Arcanist’s domain was the perfect place for her: a realm of knowledge and magic alike. Now, she peddles her goods and helps magical dragons hone their craft. Although she is not part of her clan’s mages’ guild, she does help them. She supplies magical materials at a discount to them and likes to stay on their good side. Because of this, she is good friends with Cinderella. As an apprentice, the young coatl is often sent to pick up materials from the shop. She and the nocturne can be found chatting for hours. Leigh also has an interesting relationship with Unity. She had never really spoken to him until one day when she passed by his home. She heard him singing, and began to ask around the clan to learn more about him. She quickly fell in love with him, and still adores him to this day. She’s not sure that he even knows she exists, but she plans to confess her feelings for him soon and hopes that he’ll return them.
