Lore: Slp0001 #156097
Smoke was a happy employee under the Stormcatcher once, working directly at Tempest Spire, proud to serve his deity. But he had always been burningly curious as to what, exactly, they were building. Not only was he incredibly smart, but he was also incredibly daring. So one day he lied to the Stormcatcher’s secretaries about a serious problem with one of the generators, one so serious that it required the attention of the boss himself. Once he’d distracted the Stormcatcher and secretaries, he snuck up to the deity’s computer, rapidly figured out how it worked and accessed the plans. Whatever he saw there horrified him; he immediately fled. When the Sotrmcatcher realized that someone had seen his plans, he was furious, and he set an enormous bounty on Smoke’s head. Smoke himself fled into the desert, but it very rapidly became unsafe, as many employees were scouring the desert for him. He fled south, for the trackless icefields of the Icewarden, and apparently disappeared into the snow. In truth, he survived and found a clan, but he’s still haunted by what he saw and lives in fear of being found by a particularly determined bounty hunter or the clan finding out about the price on his head.
