Aldebaran looked around the twisted, snarled world. The stagnant winds, the howls of another one of the Wyrmwound's victims. Jagged plants sprawled across the ground like desperate claws, and the sky was dark with clouds the color of the blood on the ground.

This place needs more flowers, she thought to herself. So, she built a greenhouse in the middle of a diseased wasteland. It was quite the task, and raised many questions among her clanmates. They glanced warily around at each other, just what was Aldebaran doing? Was that even allowed in the Plague lands? The doubts rang out until they saw the first hibiscus. Aldebaran presented it in her open claws, a gentle smile on her face and her wings shining the colors of the bloom. To those living in the dark, the first light is a beautiful thing. To the loveless, a act of kindness is the world. And to her clanmates, who had seen nothing but the snarls and curls of thorned plants, this flower was an foreign, treasured jewel.

The novelty never quite wore off as Aldebaran opened her own shop. Her clanmates loved this delicate blossoms she sold, and she loved spreading this new joy through her home. She has taken to traveling far and wide to collect new varieties of blooms, seeking to revitalize and brighten up her home. Her colors shift to match the dying sun and daisy petals, and her happiness only grows as her clan's delight does.

Her purpose is simple. Cultivating her blossoms, and creating something beautiful in the dry landscape. Simple, but seeing the faces of her clanmates light up makes it all worth it.
