Biography
As the first son of Thunderboone, Umeme maintains his position as the Clan envoy with his mate, Jasta, and his brother, Malken.
Umeme extends a paw out into the air, the moonlight dying his fur a fluorescent blue. Jasta watches him as he flexes the fingers and brings a smile to his face.
"What?" he says, shaking the paw before bringing it back in.
Jasta shakes her head. "You look so different now,"
Umeme can feel the rest of the statement even when his mate doesn't say it. "Is that bad?"
A smile. "No. It means you're healthy."
"Better, too."
The pair, a deep purple and bright orange, stand together in the shade of the giant mushrooms of the Shadow flight.
Jasta extends a claw and snips off one of the many plant leaves and stuffs it into her foraging bag. "How are Aries and Beetie adjusting?"
Umeme knocks his head to the side. "Their first batch of babies are already grown and going to the coliseum to train." He rumbles. "I reckon it won't be long till they have a second batch to send those ones out."
Jasta chuckles and flaps her wings gently. "And what about Hadrion talking with you the other day?"
An electric ripple fires through Umeme's fur. "She was asking about the duties of the first born. In the same way that we're all envoys, she was wondering what we actually do."
"What'd you tell her?"
"The same old, same old. Talk to other clans, make friends...recon."
Jasta nods. "Have you done that recently?"
Umeme chuffs. "No, not with our first batch on the way. You remember, I'm techinically an old man?"
Jasta whips her tail into his wing. The noise sounds like a sudden drum beat in the middle of the darkened forest. "Well, old man, it seems you've been shirking your duties!"
They run off into the night, stars twinkling above.
