The Music-Maker


Golden-orange eyes peer out as Unity looks at the world around him. He’s a quiet sort of dragon when he first meets people, the sort who prefers to sit and observe before he speaks. Once he gets to know someone, however, it’s almost impossible to get him to stop talking.

From a young age, Unity was trained to be a musician. His parents, Starfall and Riven hires instructors from all over to teach him how to play all sorts of different instruments and how to sing. Some dragons might have resented this, but Unity did not. There was nothing he loved more than creating music, and he was very, very good at it. When he was still learning, he would perform for his parents and relatives. He was known throughout the clan for his beautiful, clear voice— as high and lovely as a silver bell. He was a prodigy and an artist.

Now that he is older, he doesn’t perform as often. He left his parent’s clan to explore the world and share his knowledge of the beauty of music with other dragons. Recently, he joined a new clan and took a position teaching young hatchlings. For any of them who show talent, he tutors them in difference types of performance.

Although he is an excellent teacher, Unity can be a bit abrasive at times. Because he has always been talented, he accepts nothing less than perfection from his students. Some of them have quit his classes because of this. On the other hand, some have blossomed under his care. He might not be perfect, but he does his best.

On his days off, this Nocturne enjoys socializing. He goes out and about, meeting with everyone he knows in the clan and gossiping about recent events. He loves to know what’s going on with other people.
