If Balrog is the Clan's heart, Corvus is its mind. Her drive would be aimless and self destructive if he was not there to temper it. He mediates her decisions and advises her on all things. While their personal relationship is one of contention due to their sharply contrasting natures, they work together even when they are nothing but spiteful towards one another. They consider each other equals. Corvus respects Balrog, even though he is constantly critical of her. Likewise, Balrog respects his decisions, although she must be reminded of his strength now and then. In general, Corvus puts up with a lot of nonsense.

It is his duty to make sure the clan is truly supporting itself - that everyone helps each other live, and that they do not grow weak or weary. Through his intellect, the clan thrives - it is through him that Balrog has becoming willing to ask the dragons of the clan to strengthen their cohesion. He reaches out to those that are struggling, and lends himself to any dragon that seeks his advice.

He tends to busy himself with research and the pursuit of knowledge when not otherwise occupied. He gets along well with the clan witches because of their similar intellectual minds. The same is true for Stilde. Kyrie is as dear to him as a daughter.
