No one approaches Balrog. She is tense, full of fire even when she is still, ruled by an indomitable will that will never let her rest. Her violence and unpredictable nature are tempered only by how carefully she controls her expressions. One who does not know her well would not be able to tell the difference in her from one moment another, even when her mood has wholly shifted. Corvus, her most trusted ally and the oldest member of her clan besides herself, is one of the few able to perceive her true intentions. He also tends to receive the brunt of her foul temperament.

Balrog is unable to stop striving for more, never satisfied by what she has achieved. Her clan must be ever larger, more wealthy, more prosperous. Her nature flight birth shows itself in her need to grow and cultivate. Although she seems untouchable, Kyrie keeps her connected to the wants and needs of the rest of her clan, who usually avoid direct contact with her.

The creed of her clan has developed thus: so long as they support the clan's health and will come to its aid in times of need, dragons are free to pursue what they wish here. She doesn't care what they get up to otherwise, their past or their goals - so long as the clan thrives, their affairs are their own. In the past, this has resulted in the clan being spread out and distant. Her current goal is to weave the fabric of her clan more tightly, and to bring her dragons together into a stronger core, without sacrificing the independence she's promised. More than ever, she wants to make her presence known - and to have them not only recognize her as their leader, but to recognize their clanmates and unify them.
