Shroudcrawler understands the important balance between life and death and as our resident "undertaker" encourages the growth of mushrooms, mold, and decay in the burial cave. Using her special skills she helps the flora to flourish in the gloom, providing not only a much needed service, but the reagents for many spells and the ingredients for many rare and delicious delicacies.

Shroudcrawler is known as an odd one, even among all the strange characters who lived in the Vale. She understands the important balance between life and death and as the resident "undertaker" encourages the growth of mushrooms, mold, and decay in the burial cave. Using her special skills she helps the flora to flourish in the gloom, providing not only a much needed service, but the reagents for many spells and the ingredients for many rare and mouth-watering delicacies.

A bit of a chef, a bit of an artist, part gardener, part undertaker. Well-respected by all, but well-known by only a few (chiefly her mother, Fadingflame and her daughter Shroudweaver). She rarely leaves her lair, but is kind to all those she encounters whether they be there to purchase rare fungi or to bury kin. Her calm is legendary and her compassion almost mythical. Some believe her to be the grandmother death goddess taken physical form. When one small hatchling asked her if it was true she only smiled gently and handed him a flower growing off the bones nearby.
