Epidote - Scientist/Medic Curious | Rational | Impractical  Epidote's means of obtaining results, are not always ethical. But no one could complain that she did get results. Maybe that's why her life was spent in the frozen lands of the Southern Icefields, alone and isolated. Maybe that's why she was unsure at the prospect of joining a liar, afraid of the judgment or obligations that would follow. Maybe that's why, even now her projects well known by her clan mates, she still doesn't always tell them everything. In the snow covered land she was born and raised in, she would test her questions and hypotheses on anything that moved. Whether it was a hoarfrost mauler or a lost dragon. Anything to obtain the results she needed. When she was apart of her birth clan, she was often forced to be distanced from them. She held no remorse for her tests, and could not see why others did. The means always justified the ends. And should some thing or someone get harmed, then it was for the better. As she now knew not to repeat the same treatment. Unless of course she needed to make sure her results were accurate and reliable. Now, within Clan Certo, Epidote often misses the snow frills that use to cover her and hide her work and deafen the screams. But amidst the dense fog and dark caverns, she continues to do her tests. Not on the lost dragons like she once did - at the request of some of the clan's more passive dragons - but often on the glowing pocket mice she is able to snatch from the tall withered grass outside the clan's home. She has learned many of things from her studies, often times working alongside Gigabyte and sharing their findings with Emiemi, the clan tinker, who in turns uses many of these new sciences to improve her machines. Together, the three might one day stand among the ranks of Shadow mum herself with their knowledge and technological advancements. But until then, the three are glad to stand side by side and continue their studies knowing the three will always have each others backs. |
