 Cicuta is rather withdrawn from her clan mates, but for good reason. In her previous clan, she was outgoing, and in a constant teasing manor with her clan mates. She often boasted about her bright colors, and how many of the other dragons colors dimmed in comparison. Being the only Arcane dragon in her clan set adrift upon an iceberg, she had to bring color in joy to the others, because if she didn't then who would? She was constantly outgoing, organizing actives and talking passionately about her studies But now here, in this new lair that differs so drastically from her previous, Cicuta just isn't sure... Her new clan mates are kind and considerate, many of them having similar experience that she did with their previous clans. Similar being the key word. None of them were there, none of them had the same bond as she did, and none will ever be able to relate to what she had gone through. The panic, the fear, the hopelessness. Everything happening so fast. At first an ambush, then the fighting, followed by watching many of her clan mate plummet into the frigid waters surrounding their demolished home. After the small flurries of snow had settled, whipped up the beating wings of the attacking dragons did Cicuta finally come out of hiding. Having buried herself deep within the snow banks to hide her bright color. She had to run, she couldn't stay where her clan had fallen, left haunted only by the memories she now holds so dear to her. Flying halfway across Sornieth, Cicuta found her way in the Wispwillow Grove, and into Clan Certo. Her Cicuta remains wary of her trickster friends (she is not yet able to call them her clan mates). Continuing her practices of Alchemy and potions, Cicuta brews new materials for the clan providing synthetic food, familiars and apparel for the other dragons. This gained the attention of Epidote, the clan scientist, another former resident of the Southern Icefields. On Cicta's good days the two talk of new findings and theories they each have in their respective fields. The one other dragon Cicuta has managed to open up to is Alcyone, a dragon who knows nothing of her past, much like how Cicuta has no past to turn to. Alcyone's mother like tendencies made her instantly take Cicuta in under her wing, despite how quiet and unwelcoming the Cicuta acted towards her, there is no way to avoid Alcyone once she claims you as one of her own. With the help of these two dragons, maybe one day Cicuta will be more willing to open up to her other new shadow friends. But before that can begin, Cicuta wants to find a way to honor the memories of her fallen clan in a way she deems suitable. As of right now, the only way she can think to do so is to confide the stories and traditions of her clan in her familiar, Adler. Maybe one day she will work up the courage to tell another dragon, but for now, her floarcat seems content enough to listen sat beside the bubbling cauldron. |
