Bubblegum was born in the Carrion Canyon. Even as a young hatchling, she always wondered what was over the cliff. The dragons around her were always too busy with their work to ever pay her any attention. Even her parents didn't have time for her. Since nobody ever paid attention to her, she managed every night to sneak away from her clan and work on her climbing skills. Determined, she managed to climb over the canyon walls, only to be faced with the seemingly never-ending cliff wall that she had always wondered about. Realizing there was no backing out now, she spent all of her energy scaling the giant wall. Exhausted, as soon was she made it over the top, she collapsed.
Bubblegum then awoke to a pair of bright yellow eyes.
"Hello? Are you alright? I can carry you to a healer."
Bubblegum managed to let out a weak "..okay". She was carried for a few hours to a clan full of dragons with yellow eyes. The other dragon, who she was told was named Rubinus, brought her to another dragon named Aurum who healed her of her exhaustion overnight. Rubinus always stayed by her side, making sure all her needs were met.
Months passed and Bubblegum finally felt at home within her new clan of Sun Bear. She took pride in her role of the Hatchling Caretaker, and even found love with Rubinus.
