He didn't exactly make the best first impression, standing over two dead guardians about a dozen steps from a nest of unhatched eggs. It didn't help when the first thing he said was "I swear it wasn't me this time." Somehow, though, he managed to win over the guardian. She took the now orphaned eggs and let the small tundra tag along.

When the eggs hatched, he helped her raise the children. When they took in the odd nocturne child, he helped raise her too. He handled dealing with people and buying supplies, knowing it was hard for her. He stood by her side in every battle, and patched her up after every fight. He kept an eye on every suspicious new dragon who joined their ever growing caravan.

And when the group decided it was too big to continue moving like it was, he was prepared to say goodbye. He would not and could not stay in one place. When he left, he thought he would do so alone, but instead she left everyone behind and went with him. They still frequently visit the clan together, and he will admit, it's nice to have a place to call home again.
