Biography

Lahash
"Matriarch"
Warrior

Lahash joined Raziel soon after he settled in the Sunbeam Ruins. Why, no one knows and she certainly isn’t telling. One thing is for sure. It wasn’t because they share the same ideals.
While Raziel is a calm, studious dragon Lahash has a wild streak a mile wide. She loves the thrill of battle- the bloodier the merrier. She’s not content to simply sit by in a cave and watch the world pass her by, a view which many of the other dragons in the clan have come to share, much to Raziel’s dismay.
Despite her propensity towards violence, Lahash is surprisingly gentle with all the babies in the clan. She is a fierce mother, liable to lash out at anything threatening the children she has adopted as her own, even if that threat is another dragon from the clan. However she is in equal parts a somewhat neglectful guardian, showering affection on the children in her presence but promptly forgetting about them the minute they leave her sight. Many of the clan mothers would trust Lahash with their children's lives but little else. Given Lahash's determination to share gruesome war stories and facts about the world with the impressionable hatchlings, said mothers would much rather Lahash protect the children from a distance or at least protect them from herself. Lahash took Luce under her wing when the young fledgling joined the clan and remains especially fond of him. As such, she will often back him during council meetings, though that support might simply be because they share many of the same views. Both have urged the use of aggressive preemptive strikes against any and all possible enemies. Lahash however will usually drop the subject when Raziel asks and has yet to take a side in the divide between the warriors.
Though technically not one of the seven members of the council she sits on it anyway and makes sure that everyone hears her opinions on each topic discussed. Opinions which are numerous and very vocally expressed. She often seems to pit other council members against each other and though she is clearly aware of the tensions stewing in the clan, she gleefully fans the flames.
Despite this mischievous, almost malignant streak, Lahash honestly seems to care for Raziel in her own way. She defends him as viciously as her 'babies'. Other female dragons in the clan know to steer well clear of Raziel lest they face Lahash's jealous rage. Her relationship with Iaoel is worst as the two cannot remain in a room together without Lahash attempting to inflect some sort of harm upon the Seerer. Conversely, when Raziel is in the room Lahash will usually ignore most other dragons present, unless she deems them a threat. Instead she practically hangs off the male Guardian and focuses her attention entirely on him in a bizarre mixture of sadistic teasing, mothering, and seduction. Oddly enough Raziel doesn't protest her presence and even actively seeks her out sometimes despite their differences. In fact, seeing the two dragons alone or fighting is almost unheard of. Michael believes that their relationship is one of true love; Azael claims it more resembles Stockholm Syndrome.

Shortly after Lahash began stalking, er, keeping Raziel company, she caught wind of a fight that would take place at the Sundial Terrace. Of course she had to attend! She spent a glorious several days in vicious warfare and chasing her prey along with a cute new friend. They're keeping him. Raziel never got a say in the matter.
