A relatively recent clan founded by the scholar Raziel, the Watchers lived in the Sundial Terrace before their growing numbers necessitated a move to the more spacious ruins of the Mirrorlight Promenade.

Originally run solely by Raziel the clan quickly developed a new leadership known as the Council of Seven due to Raziel's reluctance to lead. Though not one of the seven council members the clan, matriarch Lahash often sits on the council and votes on key matters along with them. As a result of this distribution of power, the clan has split into six main groupings
Scholars and Mages
Raziel heads the scholars and mages. The historians and record-keepers of the clan, these dragons primarily focus on knowledge in all forms, gathering this information and storing it for future progeny. While the mages train in various offensive and defensive magics, they rarely have occasion to use them as they rarely stray far from their scrolls.
Messengers
Gabriel represents the messengers. Messengers of the Watchers Clan serve as couriers, information gatherers, and ambassadors in turn.
Warriors
Michael and Luce share leadership of the warriors. These are the dragons who defend the clan. Occasionally they will also mount attacks on encroaching beast clans.
Healers
Raphael is the chief of the healers. These dragons treat any wounds or illnesses in the clan. They often have a close working relationship with the scholars and mages, who assist them in developing new potions and healing spells.
Rangers
Azael leads the rangers. The rangers gather food, water, and herbs for the rest of the clan while simultaneously scouting for any signs of danger. When possible, they will quietly eliminate small packs of beast clans passing through the territory. Bigger, more aggressive groups of enemies entails a call for the warriors.
Trainer
There is only one member of this group- Haniel, who trains the younger dragons. Regardless of their intended pathways, all the hatchlings in her care are taught basic survival skills and combat. Her teachings have benefited some of the older dragons who have entered the clan as well, helping transition them into their new lives. Further training is carried out in whatever group the dragon chooses to join. On the council, Haniel speaks for the civilian population.
