"There is a shadow in every lair."
Zanril left her old clan in order to travel the world and find herself. That was until a storm blew her so far off course that she landed in right into the middle of the Starwood Strand. Found with a broken wing by Kiri, Zanril was welcomed to stay until she felt better. She accepted this hospitality and eventually asked to stay and become part of the clan having finally found something she cared about more than her family. She was eventually realized to be an ambassador to an allied clan, sent to preserve peace between the two clans.Her first mate was Rhen, who ran away when it was revealed that she had an affair with Hypnos. Heartbroken and distraught, she had a hard time involving herself in her daughter's life. She regrets this immensely, as now Belladonna has chosen Artemis as her mother figure. Dusk approached her in her darkest hour, and listened to her. He had also lost his mate, for a completely unrelated reason. They bonded over their heartbreak, and eventually decided to become mates. Though Dusk is gone often taking messages to and from the clan, Zanril is always excited to see him when he comes home. For Halloween one year, she made an agreement with Dusk, Mio, and Spooke to mother one clutch of ghost eggs. Though hesitant, she was told that all of her babies would find good homes. She pushed herself to love these hatchlings for the short period of time she had them after they hatched, but had issues due to her past fling with Hypnos. |
