Broken Bottle

Drift had had a hard life before she came to the clan. Her parents lost her at a young age, and she was left in the harsh and unforgiving plague lands alone. She barely managed to survive. Time and time again she found a mate to settle down with and children to call her own, but death always came for them, leaving Drift alone once again. She felt as if the gods themselves were punishing her; Was she weak? Had she done something to wrong Sornieth itself? Should she have taken better care of those she loved? Indeed, it felt that way to her, so she set off to the Scarred Wasteland, her birthplace, once again. This time, she did not fight off the diseases and brutal packs of dragons, instead waiting for death to come to her. Just as she was about to take the same course her mates and children had gone down, she was found and rescued by a strange wildclaw. Drift had wandered into the borders of the Clan of Plaguebearers, who took her in and nursed her back to health.

Drift was grateful to these dragons. They accepted her into their numbers as if she was family. She decided to help the clan as they had helped her, so she became a therapist. She helps guide dragons through whatever challenges are thrown their way, because she doesn't want anyone to feel the way she felt - unwanted, wrong, hated... Shortly after Drift came to the clan, another guardian named Alvis joined. The two fell in love quickly. When she has time to spare, Drift loves to take care of the clan grounds. She is a groundskeeper, and Alvis is an architect; together they have made the clan much more beautiful, both with their work and with the peace and happiness they spread with their presence.
"You are loved, and you are deserving of love."
