Geneva knew the Corruption was certainly up to something when they started summoning demons in the basement. But somehow she just couldn't get herself to care. Sure, demons are tricky at the best of times, and bring about ArWeirdmageddon at the worst, but when they're this adorable? (Bill objects to this. Xe is most certainly not adorable, xe is terrifying all-powerful dream demon!)

By now, the Matriarch has given up on ever completely understanding alternate universes, fan-dragons, and soul manifestation. Sure, the flesh-hat incident in the original source was horrifying, but Geneva trusts the clan's guiding spirit. The Reocailura has never steered them wrong yet.

Bill has a slightly more stable physical form than Cipher, but seems to be a bit more unstable mentally. This is either a result of his physical form's origin in Arcane lands or the time spent in Shetan's clan. Living out your formative days in a clan surrounded by starving dragons, petrified you will end up Silenced just like them, then having a demon shoved into your body after you have hit adulthood - it's a miracle the summons didn't end up even more botched. Bill of course, refuses to admit that any aspects of his personality could be influenced by his existence before the summons. There is a rumor that the Skydancer is bound together by the Shade, as shown by the obsidian crackle across xyr scales.

Cipher made a deal with the Corruption to summon Bill, and only after a long and arduous negotiation were they able to obtain the perfect dragon host. The dream demon Skydancers are two halves of the same whole, and only when they are together do they achieve full power.
