Geneva knew the Corruption was certainly up to something when they started summoning demons in the basement. But somehow she just couldn't get herself to care. Sure, demons are tricky at the best of times, and bring about ArWeirdmageddon at the worst, but when they're this adorable? (Cipher objects to this. Ze is most certainly not adorable, ze is terrifying all-powerful dream demon!)

By now, the Matriarch has given up on ever completely understanding alternate universes, fan-dragons, and soul manifestation. Sure, the flesh-hat incident in the original source was horrifying, but Geneva trusts the clan's guiding spirit. The Reocailura has never steered them wrong yet.

Cipher has yet to achieve a stable physical form, and continues to blip around the lair causing havoc and spooking unsuspecting dragons. The Corruption has proven entirely incapable of keeping zir under control, which is why everyone knows of the demon in their midst. Luckily for them, the upcoming power shifts in the clan are way to interesting to have Cipher divulging any of their secrets. Unless, of course, you want to make a deal?

It turns out Cipher did make a deal to have the Corruption seek out the perfect host for zir counterpart, Bill. The dream demon Skydancers are two halves of the same whole, and only when they are together do they achieve full power.
