Korinohi's spells are not of the dangerous type. She has no attraction to harming others or raising the dead, or even bringing bad luck. No, the only spells she preforms are ones that will benefit her clan.
She studies the light elements of magic, and how influences the nature around her. About once every three years she publishes two books: one about her most recent- but completed- studies, and one detailing her spells and practice so that other dragons may have a resource to start magic work.
She is the only dragon who has built a home outside of the main lair. It is not far removed from the many tunnels that make up a majority of this clan's home, but just away enough that her colorful magic studies will not disturb any. Plus, it's hard to study plants when you live in a cave.
She has a horrible stutter, so spoken spells are oftentimes a challenge. But she has found an ingenious way to get around this! Rather than speak the spell, she sings it. And oh what a wonderful singing voice she has! If she has trouble coming up with a tune or pacing of the song, she consults Chime, who is glad to spend hours talking with the old dragon about music.
Korinohi spends much time in the library. She loves the large collection that Lym has amassed and will spend hours wandering around or reading. Lym quite enjoys Korinohi's visits, as she is a rather clean dragon and can suggest many books that Lym can add to her collection.
