They go by many names, gods, elementals, incarnates, and so on, but for the sake of clarity they'll be called "embodiments" here. Embodiments are corporeal forms of an "element". Elements range from physical things like earth or magma to more abstract things like spirit or death. Mortals may interact with them by way of summoning and providing an appropriate offering. In return, embodiments may help the mortal depending on whether their offering was satisfactory. Each one resides in their own pocket dimension which can be arranged any way they please. Generally, only embodiments can visit these dimensions. In the mortal world, each embodiment has a corresponding mortal settlement, the size of which depends on their power and influence. Spirit is one of the most powerful elements, rivaled only by chaos.

Of every creature that exists, Vyper truly believes he is the most righteous. It's easy enough for him because he's not only one of the most powerful beings, but also physically the largest embodiment. Never is he seen without formal wear and an elegant sword of some kind. Normally he hides his face, but underneath it's always cold and expressionless. He believes he must be completely emotionless and unbiased.

Vyper likes order and is always rearranging something so as to make it appear more "perfect". His favorite colors are black and white and his least favorite color is grey. Sometimes he listens to classical music that he deems "perfect" though it's unclear why. He has the ability to preform any art as though he were a master, he just chooses not to.
