This little wildclaw was as sprightly as they came. His abandonment as a hatchling never swayed his spirit and instead served to ignite it. Any memory of his original clan practically ceased to exist in his mind, for all he had ever truly known were the Diamond Rooks and the warmth of the flourishing jungle. His earliest memories were that of Erolith, mesmerizing him with tales of a distant past. He was soon composing opening ballads for the nocturne's stories, each score woven into the spoken tongue so intricately and deliberate. Erolith fed off of his energy and would mimic the little dragon's vigor, causing the two of them to enrapture even the grumpiest of dragons. After his former mate, Kalei, accepted the calling of Glademother, Zikel took flight to Dragonhome to celebrate her memory and sing stories of their once requited love. Mykla, who was often exploring the bazaars scattered throughout the Colonnades of Antiquity, was moved by his devotion. She had a pendent crafted as a gift for him, which he graciously accepted. The two formed a strong bond over what once was and what could be. He serenaded her with spontaneous libretto. She enriched his knowledge of various plants. They artfully captured the other's affection. When he wasn't bewitching his clan or spending time with his beau, he was more often than not sparring casually with Farai and his mate, Rosinca, in an empty glade near the edge of the lair. Neither of the wildclaws had any interest in dueling for a higher rank, but their instincts still drove them to delight in a friendly quarrel of strength.

Zikel's absolute favorite past time is composing ballads for Erolith's tales. He doesn't share an unfinished tune with anyone, save for his mate. |
