Mykla is a rather pleasant dragon to say the least. She does her best to get along with others, appeasing them with tiny metal trinkets and baubles when necessary to facilitate her lack of finesse in regards to communication. She delights in an array of entertainment, but when given the option will choose to partake in a discussion of all things greenery related above all else. She is completely fascinated by the plant life scattered throughout Sornieth due in part to the fact that her homeland has very little of it. She chanced upon Zikel while he was casually busking in the Colonnades of Antiquity. She was enamored by his heartfelt ballads, but could sense a sorrow among the vibrations in his songs. She desperately wanted to gift him something meaningful that compared to the emotion she felt through his music so she commissioned her most trusted metalworker in the bazaar to make a humble pendant comprised of blossoming sweet woodruff and yarrow bound in sorrel. The detail was impeccable. She presented the gift to him nestled atop a bed of thyme for a finishing touch. The minstrel was adept at discerning the meaning behind the plants on the pendant and the two have been inseparable since that day. Mykla is now head of the botany research for the Diamond Rooks, utilizing all of the works left behind by Zikel's former mate, Kalei. They each hold a deep fondness for the other's passions and often share in them together. |
