B I O G R A P H Y

Caleili is the founder and matriarch of her clan. Proud and powerful, she bears the scars of many battles. A born fighter, her Charge is her clan and she would die to defend it.

Wary of those from other flights, particularly Plague, Caleili is nonetheless extremely protective of those who become part of her clan. Unwaveringly loyal to the Gladekeeper and her clanmates, she expects the same level of loyalty from those she protects.

Stubborn to a fault, her worldview is largely black and white, good and bad with little room for different shades of morality. The personal reasons or history behind such moral choices rarely matter to her if she deems the act in question wrong. Betrayal is something she abhors and should such a thing ever happen, she would have no qualms about killing the betrayer with her own fangs and claws. Those who incite true anger in her are never forgiven.

Ryuda is her chosen mate, a wise, thoughtful fae. His steady calming nature helps keep Caleili's more extreme personality traits under control.

After many centuries of life, the dormant spark of elemental power she was born with has bloomed. The plants and trees now bend to her will, allowing Caleili and her mate to shape the home of their clan. As a mark of this power, twisted antlers of bleached living wood have grown from her skull, wrapping around her natural horns. If left uncleaned for more than a day her wings begin to grow a drapery of moss, and her antlers would also blossom if she didn't sharpen them often.

Perhaps as a sign of permission or blessing for the move to Light from the Gladekeeper, Caleili's colours shifted to a brilliant golden orange. On the clan's return to their ancestral home, those born in the redwood forests fringing the sprawling Sunbeam Ruins marvelled at the gargantuan trees of the Labyrinth. Upon stepping foot on the soil, moss and roots of their true home, Caleili's colours shifted rapidly to the deep warm glow of rosewood and lush green of healthy foliage.
