____Marrow’s cold eyes bleed crimson against his pale white hide, and the sharp gaze lingers on any foreign creature as he studies them, looking for a way in. When Marrow isn’t investing his strength into metal over an anvil, or in the slaughter of his foes, it is best to stay clear of his path. Most dragons know to scurry away when the metallic clicking of his bone and steel charms are heard heading down the path.
____But Marrow wouldn’t dare harm the dragons with in his village, Theodore will assure. The plague dragon may be a pathogen of violence at heart, but he has pledged to Theodore and his followers--the only creatures to treat him as an equal--that he will protect them from the evil with which he has an intimate understanding.
____He works as a blacksmith within the clan, creating armour, tools, trinkets and nails for their various needs. However, Marrow’s biggest assets are his combat abilities. He may be somewhat off-putting to those not familiar with dragons from the roughest nooks of the boneyards, with his blood red snake eyes and steril tone. But Marrow simply wants to create a new niche for himself outside of the gore and abandoned haze of his past, and cure his deep set hatred.

____Blood dripped over his pale white scales; a lurid, bleached, and sterile color that refused to resemble the pathogen he strived to be. His thirst for blood only grew with the years. Rejected by his plagued homeland, Marrow carried a thirst for revenge against those who abandoned him, to grow in power and fear, to become the disease that ravaged his enemies.
____Marrow slaughtered the creatures that stood in his path to power, allowing blood to bathe his white form. The shadow of death was at the end of his talons and fear poisoned the air around him.
____Then, he found purpose. He was so consumed with becoming the ultimate pathogen that he was overcome with the virus if his rage. Sickly and near dead, Marrow was found draped over a gore-stained field by a Nature caravan. Young Icarus quickly took to his skill of medicine to heal the white beast. Only, to Icarus, Marrow was not a beast or failed dragon, but simply a dragon with a past. When Marrow awoke, he sprung to attack the brown and green dragon posed over him. Icarus keeled and did not resist as Marrow pressed his talons into his fleshy throat, instead watching the white dragon intently. Marrow snarled and Icarus just smiled with conveyed understanding.
____Slowly, Marrow took to the odd guardian dedicated to treating him-- the proud disciple of death and disease! And slowly, Marrow became a new beast. Now, he is their sole protector against the plague he has become.
