This is one of the last of our children to be born here, in this cruel yet wonderful desert. Under normal circumstances, she would grow strong and loved under her parents' wings, under the watchful eyes of her clanmates, but alas, our circumstances are no longer normal.
We must escape, and this little one has very little chance of surviving the journey. Please, care for her at least until she reaches adulthood. Then, if you must, send her off to seek her fortune, or perhaps to our great and revered god, The Stormcatcher.
