Silviu

Silviu was always elusive and hard to find, especially for a dragon of his size. Being a Tangled Wood native, he was naturally able to slip into the shadows and vanish. Then one day, a merchant came through the territory. From them, Silviu acquired a cloak of invisibility. Now Silviu is impossible to find at all and many young and new dragons think he is simply a myth. Many clan members have even forgotten what he looks like, they know only the sound of his voice. Between the lands of Light and Shadow, there is a cove. A sheltered off-shoot of the Great Channel that separates the Viridian Labyrinth from the rest of Sornieth. It is on the largest Island in this cove that a traveler will come across a string of shops and two larger buildings. The Crafters Isle, the Waypoint Wing, and the Great Hall. The owners and occupants are members of the Shrouded Cenote Clan.

Many travelers would assume on first glance that this is the extent of the clan. A quick chat with any of the residents and they will readily tell you that this is not so. What is seen is only a small part, and the majority of the clan is hidden away on the mainland.

The coast line; steep, jagged cliffs, is shrouded by a thick blend of natural fog and conjured shadows. The forest inland is much the same. The shadows, in conjunction with the densely packed foliage, makes navigation nigh impossible. The only way through is to be guided by the clan members themselves, but first one must earn their trust.

In the center of these dark and dense woods, there is the mouth of a large cavern in the ground. An old and colossal sink hole formed here, and eventually caved in. Once sure that it would collapse no further, a young clan numbering only twelve strong made it their home. The entrance to their new home was quickly and skillfully obstructed from view under the directions of the Matriarch, a young Nocturne named Wisteria.

Once past the entrance, which itself was thrice that of an Imperial wingspan in diameter, the cavern opens up drastically and descends deeper still. Roots of trees and brambles pierce through the ceiling and trail down, at the bottom is a large and deceptively deep pool of fresh water. The water only occupies about two thirds of the base, the other third is a gently sloping shore dotted with boulders and plant life. It is in the walls of the cavern that the homes of the clan are carved or constructed, though some smaller members suspend their homes from the hanging roots above.
