The older of the troublemaking twins, Calliope always has the worst ideas and the most enthusiasm to see them to completion. Easily bored and uninterested in the more scholarly pursuits of the clan, she and her sister Callista are usually out exploring the ruins outside Heliopolis, sometimes straying far out of territory and even into the Shadowbinder's realm.

With an unquenchable thirst for adventure and a minimal regard for the rules, a day spent with Calliope is never boring. She is always finding some new mess to get into, or some new archaeological dig to muck up. The other dragons in the clan are mostly just grateful she's stopped being so destructive at home.

Inseparable with her twin, though usually the one responsible for their messes, Calliope has a deep love for her family and for the world. Why spend your life at home when there's so many more exciting things to see: if you have a working knowledge of backroads and the bravery to dodge the beastclans, that is.
