“That’s going to have to steep for a while. Um… Oh, you want to hear about me? Dearie, I’m so flattered! I’m afraid I don’t have much of an interesting story, though. Hmm… Well, I was born in Earth, that much is clear from my eye color, now isn’t it? It was really boring. Most of my clan slept all the time. So one day I just sort of wandered off, and got lost, and ended up here! Everyone’s been really nice, especially Gryth. He was the one who told you to come to me, right? He’s teaching me how to do alchemy, but it’s difficult. Ah, well. I’ll get the hang of it someday.

“What about you? A story for a story, yes? While we’re waiting for this to steep, why don’t you tell me something about yourself? There’s nothing better than hearing another dragon’s stories, I think, unless that dragon is a Fae, in which case I’d prefer to have a Skydancer translate, if you get my drift! Ah, your best friend is a Fae? No offense meant, I just can’t read their emotions very well.

“Well, this is awkward. Um… Oh, your potion is ready. Don’t take it more than twice a day, no matter how bad the pain is, and come back when it’s finished! Yes, I promise, it’s perfectly safe, unless you find yourself turning purple, in which case you should probably come back and let me administer an antidote. That shouldn’t happen, though. Ta!”
