Momma fits her name to a T; nurturing and loving, she’s the big babysitter of the clan. Everyone is welcome to her love regardless of how others may perceive them, since others rarely influence her opinion. She most commonly is found surrounded by the hatchlings of the clan, giving them all the love and care they could possibly ever want. She has even been known to take in abandoned and lost hatchlings as well, treating them like they’re her own offspring. Being a mother herself, she understands how important it is for parents to have some time off sometimes from the constant babble of the young, so she easily steps up to the job.
If there has to be one fault from this loving heart of hers, it’s that she finds it hard to let go of those she helps raise. She knows it is important for them to find their own way, but sometimes she wants to continue to protect them from the harshness that she knows is out there. Sometimes she may appear overbearing to others, but she does it all out of love and care. In the end, she does realize that they need to take this step and leave the nest. She always makes sure to instill knowledge and good morals in any of the hatchlings who will be leaving their home as her own little protection to them.
Every day she follows the same pattern of helping the hatchlings, and she quickly gained the reputation of being the most patient. No matter what kind of trouble or how big the tantrum is, she patiently waits until the hatchling has shouted out all of their anger before she calmly talks through the situation with them. She’s a big role model to all those she helps raise, and the other dragons in the clan respect her greatly.

HISTORY

History:
Momma struggled through the first part of her life. When she was a hatchling, she had a loving family that brightened her own heart and made her the happiest she could remember being. These are only faint memories, however, as tragedy struck while she was still very, very young. She never was sure what had happened exactly; one day she woke up from a nap to find the nursery collapsed around her ears. She managed to squeeze out through the rubble, but she didn’t see a single other dragon in the desolated landscape. She was completely, and utterly, alone.
She had to quickly mature and learn how to take care of herself. She days were spent with her stomach in cramps as she sampled through plants and learned what was edible; hours were spent standing very still in the middle of a stream as she learned how to catch elusive fish; days upon days upon weeks were spent curled up in the cold, sick and shivering and missing her old home. She struggled and she suffered, barely making it day to day. She made it though, and came out of the experience strong and independent with all the knowledge of how to care of herself.
When she finally joined a clan, she found herself gravitating towards their nursery and hatchlings. She felt the strong pull to help give them experience and knowledge that she wished she had when she was left alone, and soon she found herself constantly around the hatchlings, giving them love and teaching them. Parents became used to her being around, and often would give her small gifts as thanks. Any hatchlings that were lost or abandoned were quickly adopted by her, and each time her love just became more plentiful. She found her purpose in life, and has found her way to pass on her experience on to the next generation of dragons.
