Melian: Maia of Vana, Valar of beauty
Melian is the firstborne of Eonwe and Varda. She was originally intended to serve her mother, the Queen of the Valar of the Stars, but Eru had different plans for her. She floated to Vana, where her gifts were more attuned to the Ainu's gifts.
Melian is a sweet Maia, and is in love with beauty itself, and in the Valkyrie, you can often find her weaving several cloths from the colors of the sunrise or Ulmo's sea. She sometimes weaves her mother's stars into her works. Nobody disputes the wonder of stars and crafts mixed together- and because of this, Melian's works are sought out from across Flights.
She can manipulate beauty into anything, or make something show its true colors. She is a little vain, much like her mother, but of course, it is not without reason.
