Alkaline, Electrolyte, & Crystalsurge
From the underground tunnel where the half-built bullet train sits quietly comes the soft, light tune of a Coatl humming along to a song. Crystalsurge's tiny paws work effortlessly with his tools as he continues his delightful song, one the two other dragons beside him know so well. One of them, a pale-coated Wildclaw named Alkaline, begins to sing softly along with his humming.
I've been workin' on the railroad, she begins as she, too, works on putting in some screws. They've been working on this project for months.
All the livelong day, Electrolyte, her bright green companion joins in. His eyes light up, though they do not move from their task.
I've been workin' on the railroad, Crystalsurge starts to sing now, waiting for his partners to pick up.
Just to pass the time away, sings Alkaline in response.
Together, they continue their song, their voices rising slowly above ground, a melodious chorus saying Can't you hear the whistle blowing...
