Biography
The vial.
He was supposed to deliver the vial. The Vial of Unseen Prophecies, a blessed gift from the Tidelord himself, meant for one of the most powerful and trusted oracles.
He had stolen it. That was his job.
He had stowed it in his coat pocket securely, he was sure of it - oh, pray that Lightweaver's eyes saw he had the vial safely tucked away that night! And yet when he returned to his boss - with two captive dragons after crossing the Shifting Expanse - the vial was gone. He was dumbfounded.
He got no pay that night, not even for that small, successful dragonnapping job he'd completed in the desert. No, in fact, he was fired for his carelessness. And as he wandered from the Hewn City back to the Highland Scrub he still pondered the sudden loss of that priceless treasure.
He hadn't worried about the vial's whereabouts. It wasn't his to worry about. Eh, it had probably broken and soaked deep into the sand somewhere, he'd thought, where it would never be found or used again. The other vial he was delivering had quietly disappeared as well - that cruel, crafty concoction the Shadowbinder had meant for some poor scholar of the Lightweaver's to consume, only for years of precious knowledge to vanish into the depths of their mind.
And now here those magical liquids were, absorbed by the scarred dragon standing in front of him, living with him.
Dearest Eleven... does she know?
