The clan knight, protector of all. Growing up on the tundra, she was hardened into a brutal and highly skilled warrior. But her personality is warm, cheerful, and friendly, and she is loved by everyone in the clan (even Mikhail!). She is always the center of attention, telling bad jokes and old war stories to the hatchlings. She takes her job very seriously, but at the end of the day, she relaxes with the clan and will cheer anyone up with her loud, hearty laugh and her terrible jokes. Cast out of her birth clan, Taika used to be a lone hunter, and wandered the Southern Icefield for years looking for prey. It was a hard life, living only to catch her next meal, the only coin she ever made was by selling furs, but it was never much. She could take on any foe, be it a dragon or beast, but winters were hard. Food was scarce, the blizzards harsh, and she was rejected from most clans she turned to for aid. One winter, when the blizzards were at their worst, she stumbled upon a lair carved into a mountain by the sea, whose occupants wouldn't let her stay, but directed her across the sea to their sister clan in the Ashfall Waste. In desperate need of food and warmth, the welcoming Fire clan sounded lovely. So she battled her way out of the blizzard and into the soot-filled skies of the Waste. She followed the coast until she found the opening to the lair the Ice dragons described, and wandered in. The first dragons she met were Lavanda and Morelle, coming back from a short hunting trip. The twins excitedly led the Wildclaw to Beetle, Arc, and Marmalade. They listened to her story and welcomed her to stay as long as she pleased, especially if she helped hunt. Taika was thrilled, as a clan had never welcomed her to stay before. She was led to an unclaimed den and served some warm stew by Chai. Now, years, later, she has comfortably settled in as the clan's lead hunter and captain of the guard. She shares her extensive knowledge of combat with other members, strengthening the clan's defense and of course filling their cellar. She was born with the ability to turn invisible, and used it well to her advantage on the tundra. She rarely uses this ability now that she lives with the Clan. It has been in her family's blood for eons, and she thought she would be the last of the line to have the ability, but unbeknownst to her, a forgotten hatchling of hers inherited it.
